Lunch

Life is about to get even busier than it usually is.   I have 2 kids starting school, plus my husband and I are both taking classes.   It makes morning rather hectic, especially because the kids have to be on the bus at two separate times.   So I was bouncing around Pinterest looking for ideas on how to organize for packing lunch quickly.  Also, my kids tend to eat everything in sight.  So having something specifically for lunches would mean they wouldn't touch it, in theory.

I found a pin for this site http://everydayfoodstorage.net/2008/08/31/back-to-school-lunch-organization/food-storage-recipes.   I loved how she had everything organized.  I'm going to attempt the freezer thing because my kids love peanut butter and jelly but not much of anything else. So it'll be easy to slap some together and freeze for the week.

I plan to freeze gogurt as well for them. I'm debating a bin or 2 in the freezer for this purpose.   I want to do one in the fridge too for lunch stuff.

So I started out with stuff for the cabinet.  I bought a set of 3 baskets at Walmart.  I then made labels for each basket and tied it with ribbon.

This is how it turned out.  I love it!   The baskets fit perfectly in my cabinet and we're ready to fill it up.
