I enjoy crafting. I love paper crafting more than anything. to take a square of paper and make it into something is fun. Well my sister is getting married this year and to keep cost down she's asked me to help her make bouquets. I'm always happy to figure out how to do stuff like that. So I went to the all knowing source of everything, the internet. I did a few searches and came up with a few things that looked interesting but I wanted something easy and pretty. So I went to Etsy. I love Etsy, kind of eBay but for crafters. I use it mainly for ideas though I've been known to buy stuff every now and then. I bought a beautiful blanket, bib and burp cloth set for my niece for her baby shower because I just didn't have the time o the skill to make it, I'm still learning how to sew.
Anyway, so I found these things called Kusudama Origami flowers. They were beautiful and looked easy enough.
This is my example and my sample and the first one I did.
A few things I learned is that I need a different type of "glue" to put it together, I used tape and it didn't work as well as a wet glue would have.
Once I figured out the folds the petals were easy. Here's the tutorial I used it was so easy to follow.

After we get the stuff and start making the bouquets I'll share them.
