I know the season for gardening is over. I know that the spring is the time for flowers not fall or winter. I know to that it's the first of September and fall is coming fast. Need to think about Halloween decorations. Okay back to the garden. We bought the house at the end of June and I really thought it was to late convert the ugly grass in front to a pretty flower bed. So I've been meaning to research the best method to turn my lawn into a flower bed. Well today I finally got around to doing it. Who would have known that I could have had a plastic bag over it and killed the grass that way. What's the purpose of a tiller and why do I need one?
The first thing I'm going to do is dig up the grass sometime in the next few weeks and then I'll let it go all winter. Come spring I'll start with tilling and then planting. Wish me luck
